Minister Squad keeps it movin' despite "The Struggle"...

Grimy? Yeah.

Hard hitting? Yeah.

True? Yeah.

Minister Squad is back with another hard hitting track. This time Mr Uni Universal and Elanbrio are tackling something we should all be able to relate to. Struggle is a reality of life no matter where you come from.

The song starts out, as you would expect from the duo, with elaborate lyricism and vivid imagery set against a surreal and spectral backdrop. The beat is a beautiful reminder of distant past in Hip-hop before the tendency to move toward more pop-friendly sounds was so prevalent. Verse two steps the energy up slightly and very overtly declares the power and necessity of faith in God with an excited exclamation!

The wordplay is deep but the flow keeps things moving rapidly... No pun intended. The message is clear throughout though: We will ALL face struggles in life but we choose how to react to them, and through that process we grow as people, as followers of Christ, as a community.
