With his new release, The Counslur reflects specifically on the impact of Television on our psyches and spiritual well-being. However, the message is really relevant to all of the electronic and printed distractions we're surrounded with each day. Cell phones. Tablets. TV's. Video Games. Newspapers. Radio. They can all be used to distract us and/or mislead us.

The track is bolstered by impressively smooth features from DZO and Bishop. As all three artists fling weighty lyricism cascading over the light melody of this stylistic beat it can come off as playful. Make no mistake though, this is thought music... Constructed with a depth that teases the listener to concentrate more intently, this song is perfectly capable of exercising the mind as much as the muscles needed to make heads nod.
