October 13, 2025 - Today it was announced on social media that JAMZ Collective contributor and Editor of CHH JAMZ Magazine Michael "Smudge D" Smejkal is moving on from his role at JAMZ Collective and will be focusing on other projects he feels led to pursue at this time.

Michael helped launch the official CHH JAMZ Magazine and later a pilot project for CHH JAMZ TV. His time with the Collective was a new and exciting phase, marked by the launch of several new endeavors, as we began to stretch and find our identity as a publication.

On behalf of the entire JAMZ Collective family, we would like to thank Michael for his passion and creativity while partnering with this ministry. We wish him the very best in his future endeavors! We know, as a part of this incredible CHH community God has assembled, we'll get to continue to watch him pursue his faith and passions elsewhere and he'll be able to keep an eye out on what we're up to.

So... what else is changing?

Right now is a fantastic opportunity for us to sort of shake up how we've been doing things as we look to the future, hoping to become a "leaner, meaner" publication that is prepared in the event God does eventually tell us to grow!

So what does that mean? For now, it means we're going to start to focus on doing a few things really great rather than trying to do a bazillion things and not always being able to keep up.

You'll start to notice some changes. We're suspending the production of "CHH JAMZ Magazine" indefinitely and focusing on our ongoing blog which has now been rebranded as "JAMZ MAG ONLINE" and will serve as the flagship for our magazine ventures, exclusively online. In the future, IF God provides the right collaborator(s) we might seek to partner with an already existing magazine. Who knows?

We're also discontinuing "CHH JAMZ TV." Point blank, we don't have the time and resources to properly support it right now. Instead, we'll focus on producing great content on social media as we've been doing, with staples like the The WAR ROOM and eventually maybe bringing back some of our other programs.

Right now we're going to be focused primarily on maintaining the two Radio stations we currently operate and the website as the HUB of all things JAMZ Collective.

We have some other things in store, when the timing is right but in the meantime we want to demonstrate that we're in this FIRST AND FOREMOST to HONOR GOD and SUPPORT THE BODY. That means we're willing to adapt as needed to serve the mission.

So what can you do to help?

1.) Pray for us to be faithful in what God has given us.

2.) Give us feedback on what you would like to see from us?

3.) Get plugged in to the website and radio stations to help us keep moving forward!

We're excited and optimistic about this coming season and look forward to continuing to be The Destination For Independent CHH and Gospel Music!!!
